Tell Me Baby是2006年《Stadium Arcadium》(星戰競技場)的專輯歌曲，是RHCP中廣告搖滾金曲最受歡迎的曲子

這首歌更貼近了血糖性魅(1991-)時期，嗆辣紅椒的味道，歌曲主題是關於洛杉磯朝聖者的夢想，財富、還有名聲

這首歌的MV相當有意思，是由Jonathan Dayton和Valerie Faris導演(是夫妻檔導演)

MV中的素人樂手在演出到了一半時驚喜的與偶像同台演出，盡情的歡樂音樂

其實是相當程度的諷刺當時為了爭取機會，殘酷而令人尷尬的試鏡演出

英國文化藝術雜誌《The Skinny》的Nick Mitchell曾經評論Tell Me Baby這首歌是

「Neither particularly complex nor memorable」

(雖然既不特別複雜，也並非讓人難忘)

「Tell Me Baby is nevertheless an upbeat little number that may well ingratiate itself on your eardrums.」

(這首歌卻像個能從耳膜振動中，帶著貼近自我的樂觀鼓勵)

關於初衷這件事，

有的人缺乏自信，害怕改變

於是將口號般的咒語掛在自己的身邊

追求旁人的標籤與認可
